Position: Director of Organic Strategy

Salary: $200K–$215K base salary + $160K equity over 4 years

Our client started their company because too many people run on habits that run them into the ground. (Coffee, they’re looking at you). Nothing matters more than what people put in their bodies. It shapes how they think, feel, and show up, every day. But they are not here just to point fingers. They are here to offer more.

Coffee is a ritual that could never be replaced. So they didn’t replace it, they remastered it: Same notes. Bigger orchestra. More harmony. They kept what they loved: the taste, the warmth, the lift. Then they added more.

And now? No crash. No jitters. No angry gut. Just the energy and focus that coffee promised, plus a bunch more benefits. Their product is coffee that does more, so you can too. Whether you’re going hard or just getting by, they make sure every sip counts.

With over $180M in annual revenue and 300K+ social followers, they’re scaling profitably in the functional beverage space and are known for their strong community and content-driven growth.

Position Overview:

This role sits at the intersection of creator, strategist, and leader. You’ll be the company’s first strategic content lead, building and owning the organic content engine that drives brand awareness and community engagement.

You’ll create scroll-stopping short-form content across Instagram and TikTok, build frameworks that define the brand’s creative DNA, and lead a growing team of content creators.

If you’re the kind of person who built an audience before, knows what makes people stop scrolling, and is ready to scale beyond personal content creation into leadership — this is the next step.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Strategy & Creation (70%)
  • Build and execute a full-stack organic content strategy across Instagram and TikTok.
  • Create and publish high-impact short-form content with an emphasis on storytelling, timing, and performance.
  • Develop storytelling frameworks, tone, and visual identity that bring the brand to life.
  • Use platform analytics and creative intuition to identify viral patterns and refine approach.
  • Operate with a builder’s mindset — test, learn, and adapt quickly.
  • Team Leadership (30%)
  • Hire, mentor, and manage a small but high-performing content team.
  • Set accountability standards and drive output without micromanagement.
  • Coach creators on performance, storytelling, and execution quality.
  • Partner cross-functionally with growth, product, and brand teams to align creative strategy.

Qualifications:

This role requires a rare blend of hands-on creative ability and leadership maturity. The ideal candidate has evolved from content creator → strategist → leader and thrives in high-autonomy, fast-moving environments.

You likely fit if you:

  • Built or scaled a personal or brand account to 100K–1M+ followers through organic content.
  • Understand what makes content perform — you’ve studied engagement, retention, and virality metrics deeply.
  • Have 3–5 years of experience in content creation, creative strategy, or brand storytelling with measurable outcomes.
  • Have led small creative teams or managed freelancers/contractors, setting direction and holding people accountable.
  • Are fluent in Instagram and TikTok — platform trends, algorithms, and audience behavior.
  • Bring an entrepreneurial mindset and comfort with experimentation and ambiguity.
  • Have genuine interest in wellness, biohacking, and functional nutrition — not just as a trend but as a lifestyle.

This role is not for you if:

  • You come from a traditional marketing or corporate background with limited hands-on content creation.
  • You rely on large budgets, agencies, or structured systems to produce work.
  • You need detailed briefs or constant supervision to execute.
  • You’re primarily analytics-driven without strong creative instincts.

What they offer:

  • $200K–$215K base salary
  • $160K equity over 4 years
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits
  • $500 monthly wellness credits and home studio support
  • Significant creative autonomy with opportunity to build and lead a team
  • Mission-driven work in the rapidly growing functional beverage space
