Position: Social Media Business Strategist

Location: IN OFFICE in Brooklyn 9-5, not remote | Department: Marketing


Are you a savvy storyteller with a passion for digital content, search visibility, and video that captivates? We’re looking for a Social Media Business Strategist to own our brand’s voice across both web and social channels—with a special emphasis on SEO, short-form video, and community engagement. This is a hybrid creative-analytical role for someone who thrives at the intersection of content strategy, video production, and digital performance.


As part of our marketing team, you’ll partner with campaign managers and creative leads to develop cohesive messaging across platforms and drive measurable impact.


What You’ll Be Doing


SEO-Focused Content Development

  • Write, edit, and optimize digital content for blogs, web pages, newsletters, and landing pages with an SEO-first mindset.
  • Ensure tone, style, and messaging remain consistent across all written assets.
  • Monitor and update website content to reflect search trends and performance data.
  • Collaborate with digital strategists to improve search engine rankings and user experience.


Social Media Strategy & Execution

  • Lead day-to-day planning and publishing of content across channels like LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and X.
  • Create thumb-stopping short-form video content and reels that elevate storytelling and engagement.
  • Develop platform-specific campaigns that align with brand goals and content calendars.
  • Interact with online audiences, build community engagement, and respond to DMs/comments in real time.
  • Measure social performance using analytics tools and adjust strategy based on insights.


You Bring

  • A strong track record in writing SEO-optimized content that ranks and resonates.
  • Experience managing content across multiple social media platforms.
  • Proficiency with tools like Later, Loomly, Buffer, or similar schedulers.
  • Working knowledge of video editing for social (e.g., CapCut, Adobe Premiere Rush, InShot, Canva).
  • Excellent communication, time management, and multitasking abilities.
  • A sharp eye for design and consistency—bonus points for light graphic design skills.
