The Opportunity

We are seeking a driven Sales Representative to launch and grow our client’s presence in Puerto Rico. This is a ground-floor opportunity in a true startup environment: you’ll be the first dedicated salesperson building out a new territory with the backing of innovative products, clinical expertise, and strong physician lists.

This role is ideal for someone with experience selling medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or healthcare products to physicians. You’ll call on vascular surgeons, podiatrists, general surgeons, and wound specialists, driving new business, building relationships, and helping physicians improve patient outcomes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, target, and engage physicians and wound care specialists across Puerto Rico.
  • Schedule and conduct sales meetings, product demos, and in-office presentations.
  • Educate providers on the clinical value and reimbursement support for the products.
  • Build strong referral networks and long-term physician relationships.
  • Meet and exceed sales goals by driving product adoption and closing new business.
  • Report market feedback, competitor activity, and physician needs to leadership.
  • Represent our client with professionalism and passion for improving patient care.


Qualifications

  • 2+ years of medical or pharmaceutical sales experience calling on physicians.
  • Established relationships with healthcare providers in Puerto Rico preferred.
  • Strong hunter mentality with the ability to independently open new doors.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-starter comfortable in a startup environment where initiative and results drive success.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) strongly preferred.
  • Willingness to travel throughout Puerto Rico to meet with physicians.
