Temporary Accounts Payable Assistant – Immediate Start
About the Role
We’re seeking a detail‑driven Accounts Payable Assistant to join a busy finance team on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong AP experience who can hit the ground running and support a fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing high-volume purchase invoices accurately and efficiently
- Matching, batching and coding invoices
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Managing the AP inbox and responding to supplier queries
- Supporting month-end processes
- Working closely with internal teams to resolve discrepancies
- Ensuring all transactions comply with company policies
About You
- Previous experience in an Accounts Payable role is essential
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Confident with Excel and finance systems
- Able to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach
