The Opportunity

As a Trainee Accountant, you’ll join a supportive and experienced team who will help you learn the ropes from day one. You’ll be involved in:

• Supporting with bookkeeping and preparing accounts.
• Assisting with payroll and VAT returns.
• Helping clients with day-to-day queries.
• Learning how to use professional accounting software.
• Working towards your AAT qualification (fully supported by the firm).

This role offers the perfect balance of on-the-job training and professional study, giving you the chance to build a long-term career in accountancy.

About You

We’re not looking for lots of experience - just enthusiasm, a willingness to learn, and a positive attitude. To succeed in this role, you’ll need to:

• Be finishing school or college (A-levels, BTEC, or equivalent).
• Have a genuine interest in finance, numbers, or business.
• Be organised and able to manage your time well.
• Have good communication skills and enjoy working as part of a team.
• Be motivated to study towards your professional qualifications.
