About the Role
We’re looking for a skilled and forward-thinking qualified Financial Accountant to join a dynamic Group Finance team. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you’ll play a key role in ensuring robust financial control and reporting across a diverse portfolio of businesses. What You’ll Be Doing
As Financial Accountant, you’ll provide strategic financial support to senior leadership. Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering timely and accurate financial and management reporting in partnership with the Group Financial Controller.
- Managing tax processes and liaising with external advisors to ensure compliance and timely submissions.
- Assisting with cash management and forecasting, including funding requirements and group cash flow analysis.
- Leading the production of year-end statutory accounts and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory deadlines.
- Overseeing and evolving finance policies, procedures, and internal audit frameworks.
- Supporting financial activities for associated entities and investments.
- Managing and developing finance systems to ensure accurate, accessible data for stakeholders.
- Driving simplification and automation of financial records and processes.
- Deputising for the Group Financial Controller when required, ensuring continuity in reporting and consolidations.
Who We’re Looking For
A detail-focused and collaborative finance professional who thrives in a multifaceted environment. You’ll bring:
- A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with post-qualification experience, ideally in a group or multi-entity setting.
- Strong working knowledge of financial systems and processes.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general IT literacy.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- A proactive, flexible approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
