About the Role

We’re looking for a skilled and forward-thinking qualified Financial Accountant to join a dynamic Group Finance team. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you’ll play a key role in ensuring robust financial control and reporting across a diverse portfolio of businesses. What You’ll Be Doing


As Financial Accountant, you’ll provide strategic financial support to senior leadership. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering timely and accurate financial and management reporting in partnership with the Group Financial Controller.
  • Managing tax processes and liaising with external advisors to ensure compliance and timely submissions.
  • Assisting with cash management and forecasting, including funding requirements and group cash flow analysis.
  • Leading the production of year-end statutory accounts and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory deadlines.
  • Overseeing and evolving finance policies, procedures, and internal audit frameworks.
  • Supporting financial activities for associated entities and investments.
  • Managing and developing finance systems to ensure accurate, accessible data for stakeholders.
  • Driving simplification and automation of financial records and processes.
  • Deputising for the Group Financial Controller when required, ensuring continuity in reporting and consolidations.


Who We’re Looking For


A detail-focused and collaborative finance professional who thrives in a multifaceted environment. You’ll bring:

  • A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with post-qualification experience, ideally in a group or multi-entity setting.
  • Strong working knowledge of financial systems and processes.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general IT literacy.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • A proactive, flexible approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
