Job Overview: 

As a Lead Generation Specialist, you will play a key role in identifying and researching qualified prospects across multiple industries and regions. You’ll work closely with the business development and marketing teams to fuel the sales pipeline with high-potential leads. While advanced tool proficiency is not a prerequisite, a proactive mindset, research competency, and the ability to learn quickly are essential from day one.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct market and competitor research using LinkedIn, Google, and public job boards to identify new client opportunities.
  • Perform Boolean searches across multiple platforms to filter high-quality lead data.
  • Utilize job boards, directories, NAICS codes, and tools such as Google Maps, Google My Business, and Data Axle to identify target businesses.
  • Support lead qualification by identifying decision-makers and validating contact information through email and URL finder tools.
  • Create and maintain lead tracking spreadsheets in Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Collaborate with the growth team to refine ICP (Ideal Customer Profile) and improve lead quality over time.
  • Use AI tools (e.g., GPT) to accelerate research, enhance messaging strategies, and support campaign planning.
  • Monitor and analyze Google Alerts and other trend tools to discover emerging opportunities.


Qualifications: 

  • Proficient in Boolean search techniques
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn for prospecting and professional research
  • Comfortable using Excel and Google Sheets for data tracking and reporting
  • Strong market research and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated with a desire to learn and adapt
  • High attention to detail and organization
  • Experience using AI tools (like ChatGPT) or willingness to integrate them into daily workflow


Good to Have (Not Required at Start)

  • Experience with scraping tools or data enrichment platforms
  • Exposure to CRM and outreach platforms
  • Prior experience in sales, lead generation, or digital marketing
  • Understanding of NAICS codes and business segmentation

Growth Path

This role offers development opportunities in Business Development, Growth Strategy, and Market Intelligence. Over time, the successful candidate may grow into a Lead Research Analyst, Market Intelligence Strategist, or Outreach Campaign Manager depending on performance and interest.
