Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and versatile Full Stack Developer/Web Developers who is a professional who possesses expertise in both front-end and back-end development, as well as knowledge of various software development technologies and frameworks and with expertise in WordPress and experience in building ecommerce sites (WordPress or Shopify). In this role, you will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining WordPress-based websites, both on the front-end and back-end. Your primary focus will be on implementing engaging user interfaces, integrating server-side functionality, and ensuring seamless user experiences. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality web solutions that meet our clients' needs.

Key Responsibilities

Front-End Development & Implementation

• Collaborate with designers to translate UI/UX wireframes and mockups into responsive, visually appealing user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Utilize modern front-end frameworks, libraries, and WordPress page builders (e.g., Elementor) to streamline development and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
• Implement and refine design elements, animations, and interactivity within WordPress themes.
• Optimize websites for performance, accessibility, and mobile responsiveness.

Back-End Development & WordPress Customization

• Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins using PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery.
• Customize and extend existing WordPress themes and plugins to meet project and client requirements.
• Integrate third-party APIs, databases, and server-side logic to enhance functionality.
• Manage database operations and optimize queries for performance and scalability.

WordPress Site Management & Maintenance

• Perform WordPress site migrations, ensuring smooth, secure, and error-free transfers between environments.
• Maintain and update WordPress websites, including troubleshooting issues, applying security best practices, and performing regular backups.
• Collaborate closely with designers, content creators, and project managers to ensure seamless content integration and consistent branding across sites.

Quality Assurance (QA) & Testing

• Conduct comprehensive QA testing on WordPress websites, including sites built using automated tools and AI-assisted workflows.
• Test functionality, layouts, performance, and responsiveness across multiple browsers, devices, and screen sizes.
• Identify, document, and resolve bugs, usability issues, and compatibility problems.
• Validate SEO, accessibility (WCAG), and performance best practices prior to deployment and launch.

AI, Automation & Modern Development Workflows

• Work effectively with AI-driven tools and automated website-building platforms used in WordPress development.
• Collaborate with and leverage Large Language Models (LLMs) to accelerate development, debugging, QA, and optimization tasks.
• Apply prompt engineering best practices to guide AI tools toward accurate, efficient, and maintainable outputs.
• Review, refine, and QA AI-generated code and content to ensure quality, security, and adherence to project standards.

Optimization & Best Practices

• Implement best practices for website performance optimization, accessibility, security, and SEO.
• Continuously evaluate and improve development and QA workflows using automation and AI where appropriate.
• Stay current with WordPress, front-end, and AI-assisted development trends and tools.
