Contract Governance & Documentation Intelligence Specialist
Foreign Venture Group | Proof Response Group
Location: Remote
Type: Full-Time
About Us
Foreign Venture Group, through Proof Response Group, operates a high-velocity emergency services and commercial operations ecosystem spanning Canada, the United States, Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom.
We are governance-driven, documentation-first, and AI-augmented. In our environment, contracts and documentation are not mere paperwork—they are strategic assets that directly impact revenue speed, receivables timing, insurance approvals, vendor onboarding, and our readiness for global expansion.
Our Philosophy: Governance is infrastructure. Documentation is leverage.
The Role
We are seeking a Contract Governance & Documentation Intelligence Specialist to serve as the execution engine of our contract governance and insurance documentation. Reporting to the Senior Contract Manager, you will be responsible for drafting, structuring, systemizing, and escalating complex documentation.
While final negotiation authority remains with senior legal leadership, your work will be the primary driver of how quickly we get paid and how efficiently our operations run.
What You Will Own
-
High-Velocity Contract Execution: Draft and manage MSAs, Insertion Orders, Vendor/Trade Agreements, SLAs, and amendments. You will maintain consistent daily output, refine templates, and preemptively manage redlines to reduce friction.
-
Insurance Documentation Intelligence: We do not submit average documentation. You will build chronological event narratives, map cause-and-effect clearly, and standardize defensible claim documentation to ensure fewer clarification cycles and faster approvals.
-
AI-Augmented Performance: Use GPT/LLM tools to compress drafting cycles, review redlines, identify risks, and improve clause logic.
-
System Design: Identify repetitive tasks and turn them into smart templates, modular clause libraries, and structured workflows (e.g., Airtable).
-
Repository Discipline: Maintain impeccable version control, naming conventions, and audit readiness.
Required Qualifications
-
Education: LLB or JD degree.
-
Experience: Proven background in high-volume contract drafting, RFx environments, and SLA structuring. Experience in insurance-adjacent documentation is strongly preferred.
-
Technical Skill: Demonstrated proficiency in GPT/LLM tools, digital contract workflow software, and structured data systems (e.g., Airtable).
You Will Thrive Here If You Are
-
Fast, responsive, and ownership-driven.
-
Systems-oriented: You naturally seek to build scalable solutions.
-
Commercially aware: You understand that legal work must serve business outcomes.
- Note: You will not thrive if you are risk-paralyzed or prefer purely academic legal work.
Reporting & Compensation
-
Reports to: Senior Contract Manager.
-
Growth: Defined path into Director-level governance leadership.
-
Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience, offered within a high-impact, AI-native organization.
