Director of Sales – Front-of-the-Meter (FTM).
This is an opportunity to help shape the future of North America's power grid by developing strategic relationships with utilities, developer-owners, independent power producers (IPPs), municipalities, and electric cooperatives while delivering large-scale energy storage and microgrid solutions.
This role is best suited for someone who understands the complete lifecycle of utility-scale energy projects—from early customer engagement and commercial strategy through EPC execution and long-term asset deployment.
What You'll Do
- Develop new business opportunities across utility-scale BESS and energy infrastructure markets.
- Build executive-level relationships with utilities, developers, IPPs, municipalities, cooperatives, EPC firms, and strategic partners.
- Lead complex, multi-million-dollar sales opportunities from qualification through contract execution.
- Collaborate with engineering, estimating, project development, procurement, and operations teams to deliver turnkey solutions.
- Guide customers through project economics, commercial structuring, technical solution development, and implementation.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, utility meetings, and renewable energy events.
- Maintain an active pipeline using Salesforce while managing long-term strategic account plans.

Dean, or similar companies is highly relevant.
The successful candidate will bring:
- A proven track record developing utility-scale energy projects.
- Strong relationships within the utility, developer, IPP, or renewable energy ecosystem.
- Experience navigating complex technical and commercial sales cycles.
- Knowledge of interconnection processes, power markets, EPC delivery, or utility procurement.
- Executive-level communication and negotiation skills.
- A consultative, solution-oriented approach to strategic selling.
Compensation
- Base Salary: $140,000 – $165,000
- Uncapped incentive opportunity

- Remote position with approximately 25% travel
