Territory Account Manager – Concrete Construction

Northern California / San Francisco Bay Area

Remote, territory-based position

Base Salary: $75,000 + Performance-Based Commission

The Opportunity

An established international construction-solutions provider is hiring a Key Account Manager to develop and grow its Northern California market.

This is an opportunity for a driven construction professional to combine technical knowledge, relationship development, and outside sales. You will work directly with concrete contractors, general contractors, engineers, and other construction professionals supporting complex commercial and civil construction projects.

The right person understands how work gets done in the field, is comfortable walking active jobsites, and can build credibility with customers from the project level through executive leadership.

What You Will Do

  • Manage and expand an established Northern California sales territory.
  • Develop relationships with concrete contractors, general contractors, project managers, superintendents, estimators, engineers, and purchasing teams.
  • Identify new projects and business opportunities throughout the Bay Area.
  • Conduct regular customer meetings, jobsite visits, and territory-development activities.
  • Understand project requirements and recommend appropriate formwork, shoring, and concrete construction solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, quotes, and commercial recommendations.
  • Maintain consistent follow-up throughout the project and sales cycle.
  • Develop strategic account and territory plans to achieve revenue and market-share objectives.
  • Monitor construction activity, market conditions, competitors, and upcoming projects.
  • Coordinate with engineering, operations, logistics, customer service, and sales leadership to deliver a strong customer experience.
  • Resolve customer concerns promptly and help keep projects moving.

What We Are Looking For

  • Concrete construction experience is required.
  • Previous sales, account management, estimating, project management, field operations, or business-development experience within construction.
  • Knowledge of formwork, shoring, concrete accessories, structural concrete, or related construction systems is strongly preferred.
  • Established relationships within the Northern California construction market are highly valuable.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Competitive, results-oriented approach with the ability to develop new business.
  • Comfortable working independently and managing a large geographic territory.
  • Ability to read customer situations, coordinate internal resources, and deliver practical solutions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Ability to travel throughout the assigned territory.
  • Authorization to work for any employer in the United States.

Compensation and Earning Potential

  • Base salary of $75,000, based on experience and qualifications.
  • Uncapped commission of approximately 2%–4% of revenue, based on the applicable commission structure.
  • Realistic annual OTE of approximately $130,000–$150,000 as the territory develops during the first three years.
  • Significant long-term upside: large construction projects can generate substantial revenue and exceptional variable compensation for experienced account managers.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, retirement, disability, life insurance, and paid-time-off benefits.

This is a genuine performance-driven opportunity. Account Managers who develop strong contractor relationships, influence projects early, and build a healthy territory can earn well beyond the initial OTE range.

Why Consider This Career?

You will represent sophisticated construction solutions used on significant commercial and civil projects while developing a high-value Northern California territory. This is a fast-moving, relationship-driven environment for someone who wants ownership, visible impact, and the ability to build a long-term career within the construction industry.
