Precision Hire is partnering with a nationwide B2B HVAC & power rental provider expanding aggressively across the Chicago market. Leadership is open to hiring either:
- A proven player-coach sales leader, or
- A high-performing individual contributor ready to step into an Area Sales Manager role

The Opportunity
This role owns revenue growth, market expansion, and sales enablement across the Chicago territory.
You will work with the sales team—not above them—to:
- Identify white-space opportunities
- Develop vertical strategies
- Build and execute territory plans
- Drive new business while strengthening existing accounts
This is leadership with sleeves rolled up.
What Success Looks Like
- You actively enable and elevate Outside Sales Representatives through coaching, ride-alongs, deal strategy, and joint calls.
- You help the team think beyond accounts and into markets, sectors, and trends.
- You contribute directly to revenue—whether through strategic accounts, new verticals, or market development initiatives.
- You collaborate closely with Operations to ensure execution matches the sales promise.
- You build repeatable territory development processes that scale with growth.
You are accountable for outcomes, not activity reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Outside Sales Representatives.
- Partner with reps to prospect, pursue, and close new business.
- Identify growth opportunities across construction, industrial, healthcare, data centers, and emergency response.
- Support complex and high-value rental solutions involving HVAC, power, and dehumidification.
- Drive market intelligence back to leadership: trends, competitive dynamics, and customer needs.
- Reinforce a culture of accountability, curiosity, and continuous improvement.
- Serve as a strategic bridge between Sales, Operations, and Leadership.
