Associate, Memorabilia & Collectible Strategy
About cllct
cllct is a fast-growing sports memorabilia, collectibles and technology company helping leagues, teams, athletes, brands and collectors unlock the value of their collections through strategic advisory services, memorabilia auditing, authentication, valuation, revenue optimization and emerging technology solutions, including MEMO, our platform designed to modernize how memorabilia programs are managed and scaled.
We are currently in an exciting stage of growth as we prepare for our next phase of expansion. This is an opportunity to join a company at the intersection of sports, collectibles, consulting, and technology, where you'll work alongside industry experts, build trusted client relationships and help shape the future of a rapidly growing business.
Position Overview
The Associate, Memorabilia & Collectible Strategy is a client-facing role that supports existing accounts and helps turn client objectives into well-executed engagements. Working directly with the Head of Memorabilia & Collectible Strategy and alongside the Manager, the Associate takes ownership of assigned client communications, project workstreams and delivery activities while developing the judgment and industry knowledge needed to manage accounts independently.
The Associate goes beyond administrative coordination by participating directly in client conversations, resolving routine delivery questions and owning defined parts of an engagement. As readiness is demonstrated, the Associate will become the primary day-to-day contact for smaller, less complex accounts assigned by the Head, with continued strategic guidance and escalation support.
The ideal candidate combines strong follow-through with relationship-building skills and a curiosity about memorabilia, collectibles and the ways cllct helps clients create revenue and meaningful fan experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship and Account Support
- Participate in every stage of the client lifecycle, from discovery to renewal.
- Contribute to client onboarding, structured progress meetings, and account health reviews.
- Communicate directly with clients on assigned deliverables, requests and next steps, keeping the Head and Manager informed as appropriate.
- Build an understanding of each client’s objectives, memorabilia program and agreed scope of work.
- Handle routine client questions within established guidance and escalate strategic questions, scope changes and sensitive issues.
- Identify client needs and potential opportunities for continued engagement and share them with the Head of Memorabilia & Collectible Strategy.
Project Delivery and Cross Functional Coordination
- Own assigned workstreams from planning through completion, tracking milestones, dependencies and approvals.
- Coordinate with Creative & Production, Product, Operations and Strategic Partnerships to keep commitments on track.
- Develop client progress updates and presentation content that explain results, outstanding decisions and recommended next steps, partnering with the Coordinator on meeting logistics and documentation.
- Check client deliverables for accuracy, completeness and alignment with the agreed scope before review or release.
- Raise delivery risks early and recommend practical next steps rather than waiting for issues to affect the client.
Memorabilia Strategy and MEMO Support
- Support research, collection reviews and preparation of materials for memorabilia audits, valuation work and revenue roadmaps under the Head’s guidance.
- Develop working knowledge of memorabilia protocols, authentication processes and cllct’s advisory approach.
- Support MEMO onboarding, client training and implementation activities in partnership with Product and the account lead.
- Gather client feedback, document adoption challenges and share insights with the Head and Product.
- Use established methodologies and seek expert review before communicating specialized recommendations.
Progressive Account Ownership
- Begin by supporting existing accounts and independently delivering defined portions of larger engagements.
- As approved by the Head, lead routine client meetings and serve as the day-to-day contact for smaller accounts with defined scopes and manageable complexity.
- Maintain account plans, track delivery commitments and monitor client satisfaction for assigned accounts.
- Escalate pricing, contract terms, material scope changes and strategic advisory decisions to the Head or designated owner.
- Partner with the Coordinator on scheduling, documentation and logistics while taking responsibility for the quality and timely completion of assigned deliverables.
Success in the First 12 Months
- Build credibility with clients through clear communication, reliable follow-through and accurate work.
- Independently manage assigned workstreams and keep timelines, approvals and next steps visible.
- Develop working knowledge of cllct’s advisory services, memorabilia processes and MEMO platform.
- Support successful onboarding and delivery while identifying and escalating risks early.
- Demonstrate readiness to own smaller accounts through sound judgment, effective client meetings and consistent delivery, with the Head approving account assignments.
- Contribute improvements that make client delivery more consistent and efficient.

- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
