Senior Project Manager – Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings (PEMB)
An established and innovative construction firm is seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Project Manager to lead and execute mid to high-complexity projects involving Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings (PEMB) and conventional steel framing systems. This role focuses on strategic project execution, client communication, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure timely, on-budget delivery of high-value construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with internal sales, engineering, project stakeholders, and external clients to execute construction projects aligned with technical and business requirements.
- Support sales during pre-project assessments and planning.
- Interface with architects and engineers to provide structural and technical guidance.
- Prepare documentation and packages for technical teams such as drafters and checkers.
- Manage field service requests, supply chain logistics, and resolution of material and service issues.
- Develop comprehensive project plans including scope, budget, timelines, and deliverables.
- Monitor daily project progress, making schedule and resource allocation adjustments as necessary.
- Serve as the primary client point of contact throughout the entire project lifecycle.
- Maintain strong client relationships, ensuring expectations are understood and met.
- Prepare and manage project budgets and financial forecasting.
- Oversee quality control, inspections, and compliance with industry standards.
- Coordinate communication among internal and external project teams.
- Lead cross-functional teams, ensuring high performance and positive team dynamics.
- Provide regular project status updates and reports to key stakeholders.
- Responsible for maintaining complete and accurate project documentation.
- Travel as needed (approximately 25%).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience managing PEMB and/or structural steel construction projects.
- Leadership capabilities and a track record of successfully managing project teams.
- Proficient knowledge of construction standards, codes, safety practices, and engineering best practices.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, including client engagement and reporting.
- Experience with project management tools/software.
- Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining attention to quality and detail.
