Security Engineer

Location: Onsite – Downtown Houston

About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated Security Engineer to strengthen our cybersecurity team. In this role, you will design, implement, and monitor security measures across our technology stack to defend against evolving threats. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to secure data and applications, respond to incidents, and continuously enhance our overall security posture.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 2–6 years of experience in IT Security / Information Security / Cybersecurity
• 1–2 years of experience in IT support or infrastructure

Desired Skills & Experience

Experience with some combination of the following:

• Cloud Security: Securing public cloud infrastructure, platforms, and SaaS environments
• Email Security: Secure email gateways & anti-phishing tools
• Endpoint Protection: Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) platforms
• Access Controls: Privileged Access Management (PAM) platforms
• Network Security: Next-Gen Firewalls, DNS security, and network hardening
• Microsoft Security Suite: Defender, Purview, IAM
• Modern Security Architectures: Configuring SASE, SSE, and CASB rulesets
• Operational Technology (OT) Security: Protecting industrial/operational environments
