Role Overview
This role serves as a strategic project leader and trusted partner to business and technology leadership, driving high‑visibility AI and analytics initiatives from concept through delivery. The Project Manager ensures clarity of scope, alignment with executive priorities, and disciplined execution across a portfolio of AI/BI programs built on Palantir Foundry. Projects span rapid proofs of concept through multi‑year enterprise analytics deployments and require regular engagement with senior leaders across the organization.
Project & Initiative Leadership
- Act as the primary driver and integrator for AI/BI initiatives, ensuring projects are well‑defined, governed, and delivered in alignment with business strategy.
- Lead initiatives ranging from short‑term POCs to large‑scale, long‑term analytics and AI programs with enterprise impact.
- Balance speed and innovation with appropriate project governance, risk management, and executive oversight.
- Partner closely with executive sponsors and senior stakeholders to provide transparency, align priorities, surface risks, and support informed decision‑making.
- Ensure all initiatives receive the level of rigor expected for high‑visibility, executive‑sponsored programs.
Stakeholder & Executive Engagement
- Serve as a trusted liaison between executive leadership, business teams, IT, and vendors.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, executive‑ready communications, including status updates, risks, tradeoffs, and recommendations.
- Facilitate executive briefings, steering committee discussions, and key decision forums.
- Build strong partnerships with business leaders to ensure initiatives deliver measurable value and align with strategic objectives.
Delivery & Execution
- Own end‑to‑end delivery across the project lifecycle, from intake and planning through execution and close‑out.
- Adapt delivery approach using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies based on project needs.
- Oversee timelines, scope, dependencies, and financials to ensure delivery remains on track.
- Maintain program‑level visibility across multiple concurrent initiatives.
Core Tools & Methods
- MS Project / Project Online – Integrated planning, scheduling, and portfolio tracking.
- Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, Word) – Executive communications, analysis, and process documentation.
- Agile & Waterfall methodologies – Flexible application based on initiative complexity and maturity.
Experience & Qualifications
- 5+ years of technical project management experience, including:
- Custom development and COTS implementations.
- Enterprise‑scale delivery using standard PM tools and methodologies.
- Agile and Waterfall delivery models.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate confidently with executive leadership, providing clear status, insights, and recommendations.
- Proven track record of maintaining strong command of project scope, risks, and delivery outcomes in complex environments.
