Job Summary

Experienced and motivated Windchill PLM Solution Architect with experience in PTC Windchill to assist with understanding and managing developments that impact the Windchill Architecture and Data Migrations. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams and clients to assess, design, and implement solutions and data migrations.

Duties

• Understand Windchill architecture solutions tailored to meet business needs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Provide guidance on best practices for Windchill implementation, customization, and integration with other systems.
• Recommend and define data mapping and workflows within the Windchill system to optimize data management.
• Work with the development team in customizing Windchill functionalities, including workflows, user interfaces, and data structures.
• Oversee the implementation process, ensuring proper configuration, data migration, and system integration.
• Monitor development progress and address technical challenges during implementation.
• Design customizations and extensions that meet customer requirements.
• Assist with Upgrade and customizations of Windchill PLM solution.
• Creo/CAD integration & support
• MS Office and Product integration & support
• Migrate data from legacy systems into Windchill environment.
• Act as Windchill Architect, create new approaches to solve problems and grow business.
• Conduct Gap Analysis and perform data integration and data migration.
• Analyze clients' data models, and advise them on the best way to cleanse, manipulate and prepare their data for migration.
• Advise customer about or perform maintenance of software system.
• Propose high level PLM solution design to improve and/or optimize existing product development processes.
• Strong understanding of product data structures, configuration management, and system integration.
• Proven ability to design and implement workflows, business rules, and process automation in PLM environments.
• Excellent communication skills to work across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently with considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience with PTC Windchill and Windchill API
• Strong programming experience with Java/JSP
• Deep hands-on knowledge of PTC Windchill 11.1 (or later versions)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• Proven experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer or similar role
• Desire to learn about and implement new technology
• Ability to focus on multiple projects
