About the Role

The company is building a brand-new Agentic AI & Automation Center of Excellence (CoE) and seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to help stand up and scale this strategic initiative. This is an opportunity to join early, influence the CoE’s operating model, and drive cutting‑edge AI and automation capabilities across the organization.

You will partner closely with a fully staffed, high-performing scrum team—including data scientists, data engineers, AI/ML engineers, software engineers, and fellow PMs—to deliver innovative AI-powered products and enterprise automation solutions.

This role blends technical product leadership, people influence, and strategic delivery, making it ideal for a PM who thrives in emerging tech environments and is eager to shape a new practice from the ground up.

 

Key Responsibilities

Product Leadership & Delivery

Lead product strategy, roadmap, and execution for AI and automation initiatives within the Center of Excellence.

Work with cross-functional teams to deliver high‑value solutions leveraging LLMs, agentic workflows, RAG, knowledge graphs, and orchestration frameworks.

Drive adoption of CoE standards, best practices, and reusable patterns across the organization.

CoE Development & Thought Leadership

Help define and operationalize the CoE’s mission, goals, processes, and delivery methodology.

Establish and champion communities of practice and PM/AI knowledge-sharing networks.

Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and engineering teams, ensuring clarity, alignment, and measurable outcomes.

Technical Expertise

Provide product guidance rooted in a strong understanding of modern AI/ML concepts, including:

LLMs & generative AI

LangChain, orchestration frameworks

Agentic AI patterns

RAG pipelines & retrieval strategies

Knowledge graphs

Model observability and monitoring

Collaborate with technical leads to prioritize features, address risks, and ensure scalable architecture.

Stakeholder Engagement

Communicate product vision, strategy, and progress to executives and cross‑functional stakeholders.

Gather requirements, manage expectations, and secure buy-in across business units.

Evaluate and present build-vs-buy decisions as needed.

 

Qualifications

Required

6–10+ years of Product Management experience, with at least 2–3 years in AI/ML, data, or automation products.

Proven ability to lead technical teams and drive product delivery in complex environments.

Hands-on familiarity with AI/ML concepts, LLMs, agentic systems, and emerging automation technologies.

Strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.

Experience working in agile/scrum environments.

Preferred (Plusses)

Automotive industry experience.

Prior experience building or contributing to a Center of Excellence.

Track record of leading early-stage or “greenfield” product initiatives.
