Position Summary

The Cloud Systems Administrator – Azure & Microsoft 365 is responsible for the hands‑on administration, monitoring, and operational support of the organization’s Microsoft cloud environments. This role ensures the availability, security, performance, and governance of Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 services that support day‑to‑day business operations.

The position works closely with IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and business teams to enforce cloud standards, support operational stability, and maintain compliance with Microsoft cloud best practices. This is a technical, operations‑focused role requiring strong execution, documentation, and troubleshooting skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and support Microsoft Azure resources, including virtual machines, storage accounts, networking components, backup services, and monitoring solutions.
• Manage Azure subscriptions, resource groups, policies, tagging standards, and role‑based access control (RBAC).
• Monitor system health, availability, and performance using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics, responding to alerts and incidents as needed.
• Perform routine operational tasks including maintenance, patch coordination, and lifecycle management of Azure resources.
• Support Azure cost management, usage tracking, and basic optimization initiatives.
• Provide operational support for Microsoft 365 services, troubleshooting issues and ensuring service availability.
• Manage and resolve incidents and requests through ServiceNow, including troubleshooting, remediation, and escalation when required.
• Maintain strong documentation standards, operational procedures, and configuration records.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• Azure Administrator Associate (AZ‑104) certification or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience administering cloud or hybrid IT environments.
• Strong working knowledge of Windows Server operating systems and Active Directory administration.
