Role Summary

Senior Application Support Analyst provides application support for the Synchro platform, a critical Brazilian tax application. The consultant will support production operations, resolve incidents, and work closely with Brazilian business and IT stakeholders. Prior experience supporting enterprise tax or fiscal systems in Brazil is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day production support for the Synchro application supporting Brazilian tax and fiscal processes
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve application and data-related issues in a production environment
• Perform root-cause analysis and support corrective and preventive actions
• Collaborate with Brazil-based business users and IT teams
• Support incident, problem, and change management activities
• Maintain system documentation and support knowledge transfer activities

Mandatory Technical Skills

• Java with Oracle Database
• Unix / Linux environments
• WebLogic Application Server
• Kubernetes

Brazil-Specific Experience (Highly Preferred)

• Prior experience with Brazilian tax or fiscal systems
• Experience supporting tax processes such as ICMS, IPI, SPED, or Nota Fiscal
• Prior experience with Synchro is a strong advantage

Language Requirements

• Portuguese – fluent (mandatory)
• English – working proficiency (mandatory)
