ETRM Business Analyst - Contract (Hybrid in Houston)

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst with 10+ years experience to support the implementation of a new ETRM system. In this role, you’ll partner closely with Middle Office, Back Office, and IT teams to analyze processes, document requirements, and help deliver a modern post‑trade framework covering Market Risk, P&L, Credit Risk, Accounting, and Invoicing. Experience with electronic trading systems is a strong plus.

• Gather and analyze data to define business requirements and procedures
• Identify process and system improvement opportunities
• Create and maintain functional specifications and documentation
• Develop process models and support training for business stakeholders
• Collaborate effectively across teams in a fast‑paced, delivery‑focused environment
• Communicate clearly in both written and verbal formats
• Perform additional duties as needed



What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related technical field
• Strong knowledge of the Power & Gas industry or ISO market trading
• 10+ years of experience in Market Risk, P&L, or Back Office functions
• Hands‑on experience with ETRM systems
• Proven collaboration with Front, Middle, and Back Office teams on IT projects
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint) and Windows OS
