Key Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Cloud platform management maintaining and optimizing applications hosted on platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including resource allocation and scaling.
  • Monitor and resolve issues related to cloud-based applications, ensuring high availability and performance
  • Ensure that cloud applications comply with company policies, industry standards, and data privacy regulations
  • Work independently or as a member of a project team to provide technical guidance related to the business implications of enterprise systems and apply your application/technical knowledge to ensure that all business systems are performing efficiently and that customers are provided with required services.
  • Continually meet with the business users to review, document, and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems, processes, and workflows to develop and execute strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems, including leading design sessions, prototyping new systems, specifying system enhancements, and implementing third party solutions.
  • Assist IT management with creating and maintaining positive relationships with departments and senior management by working with available resources to continually prioritize enterprise system projects and support while communicating progress and maintaining project/maintenance documentation of the highest detail and accuracy.

All Specialties

  • Stay current with emerging technologies to enhance decision-making and operational efficiency.
  • Design, build, test, document, and maintain business processes as well as draft and update associated data flow diagrams and interfaced Source-to-Target mapping.
  • Technically familiar with associated physical and virtual hardware, software, middleware, architecture, and accoutrements pertinent to maintain functionality and application security.
  • Keep current with cloud and on-premises application related to technological trends and innovations.
  • Familiar with Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) Application Programming Interface (API), and Secure File Transfer Protocols (SFTP)9.
  • Support and troubleshoot cloud and on-premises applications.
  • Implement regression testing following updates.
  • Coordinate system updates, configuration changes, and deployment of enhancements within a structured change control process.
  • Utilize various tools to extract, transform and analyze industry data from disparate software products to answer professional questions, propose feasible resolutions, and make informed decisions.
  • Monitor model performance and ensure data integrity
  • Define, manage, and maintain data governance to ensure business intelligence integrity.
  • Develop content data repositories to deliver key strategic insights to the executive audience via Business and Metrics review meetings.
  • Architect scalable data pipelines across on premise and cloud-based data repositories.
  • Mentor, advise, and train Information Technology team members and business users.

Workday Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Specialty in Human Capital Management (HCM)

  • Provide technical and functional support across core HCM modules including Core HR, Learning, Recruiting, Talent Management, and Payroll Management, ensuring system integrity and business continuity.
  • Configure, test, and maintain HCM-related business processes, workflows, and condition rules to align with organizational policies and evolving human resource strategies.
  • Provide support and collaboration with the HRIS team designing and generating custom reports and dashboards using Workday’s reporting tools, enabling data-driven decision-making related to workforce planning, headcount, and compliance.
  • Manage and troubleshoot integrations between Workday HCM and third-party systems such as payroll providers, benefits platforms, and time tracking solutions, utilizing tools such as EIB, Core Connectors, and Workday Studio.
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and security of HCM data through validation routines, mass data loads, and adherence to governance standards.
  • Assess the impact of Workday semi-annual releases on HCM functionality, execute regression testing, and coordinate user acceptance testing in collaboration with HRIS team and IT stakeholders.
  • May provide administrative support to the HRIS team assigning role-based access controls for core HCM modules ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements such as HIPAA, EEOC, and internal audit protocols.
  • Partners with HRIS, Talent, and Organizational Development teams to gather requirements, deliver training, and support change management initiatives tied to HCM system enhancements.
  • Collaborate with HR, Payroll, IT, and other stakeholders to gather business requirements, implement enhancements and provide training and documentation to end users.
  • May provide support to the HRIS team to configure and maintain business processes, organizational structures, job profiles, and compensation frameworks in line with HR policies

Workday Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Specialty in Financials

  • Provide day-to-day support for cloud based Workday Financials modules such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Expenses, and Procurement.
  • Configure and maintain financial business processes, cost centers, ledgers, and reporting structures to align with evolving business needs.
  • Develop and maintain custom financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs using Workday tools such as Workday Report Writer, Composite Reports, and Prism Analytics
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance integrations between Workday Financials and external systems (e.g., banks, ERP tools, tax systems) using EIBs, Workday Studio, or Cloud Connect.
  • Assist with financial period closes, reconciliation activities, and prepare system-generated audit trails and compliance reports.
  • Ensure financial data security by managing user roles and permissions, while adhering to SOX, GDPR, and internal audit requirements.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, and IT teams to gather requirements, implement system enhancements, and provide user training and documentation.
  • Supports ancillary business process related applications and interfaces (API, Cloud, Workday Integrator).
  • Provides functional expertise providing support within Workday configuration and functional skillsets to enhance performance in technical areas including and not limited to: Finance (Including and not limited to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, General Ledger, Treasury, Budgets, and Procurement.

IBM Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Specialty in Asset and Capital Project Management

  • Provide ongoing support for IBM cloud-based applications including Maximo (MAS) and Tririga (TAS), including troubleshooting issues, applying patches, and ensuring system stability and performance.
  • Configure application settings, workflows, and business rules to meet operational requirements; assist with customizations using automation scripts, MBOs, and application designer.
  • Manage and support integration between MAS/TAS and external systems such as Workday and GIS using tools like Maximo Integration Framework (MIF) and REST APIs.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of assets, work order, inventory, and maintenance data through validation, cleansing, and import processes.
  • Monitor MAS/TAS system performance, analyze logs, and recommend optimizations to improve application speed, reliability, and uptime.
  • Develop user guides and training materials; conduct workshops and sessions to educate users on MAS/TAS functionality and best practices.
  • Work closely with finance, Real Estate, maintenance, IT, and operational teams to gather requirements, propose solutions, and support asset management objectives.
  • Monitor and manage IBM Application Point (AppPoint) utilization.

Integrated Collaborative Microsoft Environments Specialty

  • Manage and support AI-driven applications and services built on Microsoft platforms like Azure AI, Power Platform, and Dynamics 365, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Implement and maintain integrations of Microsoft AI services (e.g., Azure Cognitive Services, Azure Machine Learning, Power Virtual Agents) with enterprise systems and business workflows.
  • Collaborate with IT team to ensure high-quality, secure, and well-structured datasets are available for AI model training and consumption.
  • Monitor AI application performance and service health using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics, identifying and resolving issues proactively.
  • Assist in deploying and updating AI/ML models in Azure ML or Power Platform environments, coordinating with data scientists to ensure production readiness.
  • Ensure AI applications comply with organizational security policies, data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR), and Microsoft’s responsible AI guidelines. Work with business units to gather requirements, translate them into functional AI solutions, and provide ongoing support and user training
  • Maintain technical documentation, change logs, and user guides for AI applications, and create reports that communicate model usage, accuracy, and value.
  • Responsible for driving the implementation, upgrade, testing, and support of M365, SharePoint, Teams and other collaboration tools.
  • Leverage data science, machine learning, and statistical techniques to develop, evaluate, and optimize AI models and solutions that support business objectives.
  • Analyzing large datasets, identifying patterns, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement AI-driven insights and automation strategies.
  • Administer and support Electronic Records Management (ERM) software and Information Governance (Gimmal or similar).
  • Administer Microsoft based collaborative tools including but not limited to SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and M365/O365 services such as Co-Pilot, Fabric, and Purview
  • Script with PowerShell, Power Platforms (including and not limited to Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI), and Distributed File System (DFS).
  • Experience with Cloud API and Microsoft BI Stacks including SQL Server, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Analysis Services (SSAS), Integration Services (SSIS) and Power BI.

Education/Experience:

  • Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Information Systems, or related major from a public or accredited private academic institution required, equivalent work experience in lieu of an undergraduate degree
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of related information technology experience
  • Certifications are a plus – ServiceNow, MS 365, IBM Cloud, Workday Pro (HCM or Financials) Azure or AWS Cloud Practitioner

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Behaviors:

  • Financial and operational reporting.
  • Beneficial to have knowledge in the following areas and supporting software: o SQL o Microsoft Office Suite of Applications including and not limited to Word, Excel, Access, Visio, and Project. o Navis N4 or similar
  • Project Management to include applying knowledge of project management methodology, software development life cycle (SDLC) as it applies to small applications and processes, and the ability to track and direct several projects at once. Set and convey clear goals through strong written, verbal and presentation communication skills as well as monitor progress.
