We're Hiring: Senior Communications Technician

What You’ll Do

• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot communication systems (voice, data, SCADA, video, microwave, satellite, and related infrastructure).
• Support local projects and perform preventative maintenance, fault isolation, and system troubleshooting.
• Provide first‑level training and support to field operations teams.
• Coordinate and direct local contractors on telecom installations and maintenance.
• Serve as the first point of contact between field operations and the IT organization.
• Maintain field standards and share feedback with engineering teams.
• Participate in 24/7 on‑call rotation.
• Travel up to 40%.



What You’ll Need

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in Electronics or 7 years of equivalent electronics experience.
• FCC license preferred.
• CCNA or similar network certification is a plus.
• 7+ years of telecom installation/maintenance experience (wireless data systems, SCADA, LAN cabling, etc.).
• Experience with phone systems and microwave communications is a plus.
• Ability to use telecom test equipment and related software.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong independent work skills with the ability to prioritize.
• Ability to collaborate with internal teams and external clients.
• Comfortable working outdoors and able to safely operate a vehicle.
