We are looking for an IT Applications Analyst to support our wholesale power and congestion trading operations in the Northeast market. In this role, you’ll work closely with our IT lead and front-office trading team, providing development, data support, and integration for critical trading systems. The ideal candidate has strong technical skills, enjoys solving complex data problems, and can thrive in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Support traders with data management, quantitative analysis, and application development

• Apply knowledge of PJM, New York, or Northeast power markets (experience with congestion trading or financial transmission rights is a plus)

• Work with Enterprise Data Warehouses (relational and non-relational databases)

• Develop complex database schemas and logic across large datasets and multiple subsystems

• Build and improve custom reports, workflows, and data-driven tools to meet business needs

• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

• Create and maintain clear technical documentation

Technical Skills We’re Looking For:

• Advanced Excel skills, including pivots, statistical functions, tables, and VBA

• Experience with SQL Server and relational database architecture

• Comfortable working with large datasets

• Familiarity with time series or pricing models

• Experience with ETRM systems (a plus)

• Knowledge of R or Python (a plus)
