Product Training Specialist


Overview

The Product Training Specialist develops and delivers training on the company’s software and products. This role also creates content and tools that support automated training for new employees.


Key Responsibilities

  • Learn new and existing company software by working with product, project, and development teams.
  • Create and maintain LMS training materials, including multimedia courses, guides, visuals, quizzes, and step-by-step instructions.
  • Follow established training and adult-learning best practices.
  • Identify training needs through meetings, surveys, and assessments.
  • Develop standalone teaching materials and learning resources.
  • Train employees on software applications, phone systems, products, policies, and daily procedures.
  • Lead presentations, workshops, and structured training sessions.
  • Support new-hire onboarding and ongoing employee skill development.
  • Build simulations and problem-solving scenarios.
  • Assist with large-scale training and quality-assurance initiatives.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure HIPAA compliance when handling medical records.
  • Perform other related duties as needed.


Skills & Competencies

  • Ability to quickly learn company software and tools.
  • Experience with online collaboration platforms (e.g., Trello, Teams, Dropbox, OneDrive, Slack, Planner).
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to explain complex topics clearly.
  • Intermediate–advanced Microsoft Office skills (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, and communication skills.
  • Experience in legal or litigation support is a plus.
  • Ability to write instructional content, scripts, and clear training materials.
  • Works well independently and in teams; handles pressure effectively.
  • Reliable attendance; flexibility for occasional overtime; able to work remotely when needed.


Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies, Education, Training, HR, or a related field preferred.
  • Prior legal or legal support experience a plus.

  • Language: Must be able to communicate clearly with English-speaking audiences.

  • Work Environment: Office setting using standard office equipment.
  • Physical Requirements: Frequent sitting; some standing, walking, typing, and light handling tasks.
  • Travel: Occasional short trips may be required.
