POSITION OVERVIEW

HSE Manager

Location: Humble, TX — Full-time, On-site

Reporting to: Head of HSE (or equivalent senior safety leader)

A rapidly growing manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Manager to support its mission of delivering reliable, high-quality industrial products. THE OPPORTUNITY

We’re looking for a proactive HSE Manager to lead and elevate all health, safety, and environmental programs across the plant. This role reports directly to the Plant Director and is responsible for driving a strong safety culture, ensuring regulatory compliance, reducing risk, and empowering employees to work safely every day.

You’ll collaborate across operations, engineering, maintenance, and leadership to identify improvements, lead training and audits, and drive continuous enhancement in environmental and safety performance. This is a high-impact role where you’ll help build a safer, more resilient workplace while contributing to long-term operational excellence.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Lead and manage all health, safety, and environmental initiatives for the facility

• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and applicable state and local regulations

• Drive a safety-first culture through training, coaching, engagement, and accountability

• Conduct audits, inspections, job hazard analyses, and risk assessments

• Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, reporting, and corrective actions

• Oversee environmental programs including emissions, waste, and water reporting

• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to integrate safety into daily operations and project planning

• Maintain accurate documentation, metrics, and safety reporting systems

• Support leadership with proactive safety strategies and measurable performance goals

WHAT YOU BRING

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Safety, Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene, or related field

• 5+ years of experience in HSE within a manufacturing or industrial environment

• Strong working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and state regulatory requirements

• Experience leading audits, incident investigations, and corrective action programs

• Exposure to environmental compliance programs (emissions, waste, water, permitting, etc.)

• Strong communication, leadership, and influencing skills across all levels of the organization

• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and safety data management systems

• Relevant certifications (CSP, CIH, CHMM, etc.) are a plus
