Account Executive – Logistics & 3PL Sales
Location: Salt Lake City, UT (office/hybrid)
A 3PL warehousing, e-commerce fulfillment and distribution company based in Salt Lake City is hiring an Account Executive to drive new business and expand client relationships across warehousing, fulfillment, and transportation services. The company operates a food-grade certified facility and supports fast delivery to over 50% of the U.S. population. They integrate directly with client platforms to support real-time supply chain execution.
What You’ll Do:
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through close for warehousing, fulfillment, and transportation services
- Target verticals include food & beverage, retail, and industrial goods
- Conduct discovery sessions to uncover supply chain challenges, service gaps, and cost concerns
- Develop proposals in collaboration with internal pricing, ops, and integration teams
- Negotiate contracts and ensure service terms protect margin and align with operational capabilities
- Grow existing client relationships by identifying new service needs such as kitting, palletization, shuttle, or last-mile
- Coordinate with onboarding and integration teams to ensure smooth go-lives (EDI, visibility, inventory setup)
- Track pipeline, forecasts, and account activity in CRM
- Meet revenue targets and contribute to team-wide growth goals
- Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor offerings, and new logistics models
- Represent the company at client meetings, trade shows, and events
What You Bring:
- 3–5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in logistics, supply chain, or transportation
- Experience closing mid-market or enterprise-level accounts
- Strong knowledge of warehousing, fulfillment, FTL/LTL, and inventory flows
- Exposure to food-grade or retail logistics preferred
- Excellent communication and consultative selling skills
- Ability to build cross-functional relationships with operations, pricing, and onboarding teams
- Proficient in using CRM tools and generating custom quotes
- Comfortable with margin analysis and understanding logistics KPIs
- Self-starter who can work independently and manage a personal pipeline
- Degree in business, logistics, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
