Are you highly organised, detail-oriented, and passionate about making a difference in healthcare? We are looking for a Bookings Administrator to join our growing team, supporting the placement of healthcare professionals into NHS and private healthcare roles across the UK.
About the Role:
As a Bookings Administrator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth coordination of healthcare staff placements. You’ll work closely with recruiters, candidates, and UK healthcare clients to manage shift bookings, maintain accurate schedules, and ensure compliance with NHS standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and confirm shift bookings for nurses and healthcare professionals across the UK
- Maintain up-to-date schedules and respond promptly to last-minute booking requests
- Liaise with candidates to confirm availability and ensure all compliance documents are in place
- Communicate with NHS and private clients to manage staffing needs and resolve queries
- Update internal systems and trackers with booking and candidate information
- Support the recruitment team with administrative tasks as needed
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience in healthcare recruitment or shift coordination (NHS experience highly desirable)
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable working across UK time zones
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and recruitment/booking systems
