We are Hiring: 1st / 2nd Line IT Support Engineer

📍 Rosebank, Johannesburg (On‑Site)

🕒 UK Hours: 9am–6pm (Mar–Oct) | 10am–7pm (Oct–Mar)

📅 Monday–Friday

We are looking for a hands‑on IT Helpdesk Technician (1st and / or 2nd line) with solid Microsoft 365 experience to join our expanding IT Team in Rosebank. As our group continues to grow, you will play a key role in supporting our team, maintaining our IT environment, and ensuring smooth technical operations across our SA and UK‑aligned business.

đź”§ Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 1st & 2nd line technical support (onsite & remote)
  • Manage the helpdesk ticketing system and respond to calls/emails
  • Set up and maintain Windows laptops/desktops
  • Administer Microsoft 365 & Active Directory
  • Manage SharePoint access and permissions
  • Support technical onboarding/offboarding
  • Maintain accurate documentation and asset records
  • Assist with infrastructure improvements and security initiatives

  • Active Directory: User management, GPOs
  • Windows OS: Device setup & configuration
  • Helpdesk Tools: Remote support & ticketing systems
  • Networking: DNS, DHCP, VPN
  • Asset Management: Inventory & lifecycle tracking

✔ What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years’ experience in IT support
  • Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • Customer‑focused, solution‑driven mindset
  • Willingness to work occasional weekends
  • Comfortable assisting with general office maintenance tasks
