Digital Product Lead- Transformation (Marketplace & Vendor Portal)

Location: London ( Hybrid: 3 days travel to the office in Central London per week + 2 days work from Home)

Salary- up to £100 K base + pension + healthcare.


Opportunity to be a product manager across a large portfolio of products for a global software distribution company undergoing a major digital transformation across their vendor portal and marketplace experience. The Digital Product Lead will own the delivery and evolution of multiple digital experience domains. This role sits at the intersection of product, engineering, commercial and external vendors, and is responsible for turning a defined enterprise architecture vision into live, usable, value-creating product outcomes.


Required Experience

  • Proven track record as a senior or lead product owner/product manager in a transformational or very fast-moving environment
  • Experience leading digital experience products (portal, ecommerce, marketplace or comparable externally-facing B2B/B2B2X products)
  • Hands-on leadership of outsourced/third-party development partners, including commercial scope and delivery governance
  • Strong stakeholder management across technical and non-technical groups, with credibility at senior levels
  • Commercial fluency — able to link product decisions to revenue, cost, adoption, or efficiency impact
  • Competent in agile execution using Azure DevOps or equivalent enterprise toolchain


Responsibilities

  • Capture and translate customer and colleague needs into defined product roadmaps aligned to commercial and operational outcomes.
  • Lead the product direction, roadmap, and prioritisation for marketplace and vendor portal experiences across multiple geographical domains
  • Drive build/migration activities in partnership with an outsourced development vendor, inheriting an existing contract and governing it assertively to outcomes
  • Shape backlog, acceptance, sequencing, and value delivery using Azure DevOps (or similar tooling)
  • Translate digital experience strategy into clearly specified epics and increments grounded in measurable commercial and user value.
  • Partner with engineering, UX, commercial, and operations to align priorities, risks, and delivery plans.
  • Colleague-facing and the ability to engage with sales and commercial teams.
