Contract role- outside ir35

Duration- 6 months with possible extensions

Location- able to travel to an office 2 days a week (London preferred or Fareham or Woking or Cerney)

As a Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) Delivery Manager, you will lead the complex enterprise migration from legacy Microsoft Navision (NAV) to D365 F&O, orchestrating seamless multi-system integrations with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM (Customer Engagement) and Oracle CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote).

Role Overview & Core Objectives

  • Lead end-to-end program delivery for the D365 F&O implementation and legacy Navision decommissioning.
  • Manage cross-functional technical teams, including ERP/CRM functional consultants, integration architects, and developers.
  • Own the quote-to-cash process transformation by tying Oracle CPQ and Dynamics CRM data flows directly into D365 F&O.

Key Responsibilities

  • Legacy Migration Strategy: Drive the data migration, gap analysis, and cutover plan moving off old Microsoft Navision databases to modern D365 F&O cloud infrastructure.
  • Integration Governance: Oversee API, OData, and middleware connectivity ensuring real-time or batch synchronization between Oracle CPQ, D365 CRM, and F&O.
  • Project Governance: Maintain project scope, timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and comprehensive RAID logs.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between C-suite business leaders and technical delivery squads.
  • Risk & Issue Resolution: Identify and mitigate cross-system dependencies (e.g., CPQ pricing rule mapping vs. F&O inventory/ledger constraints) prior to go-live.

Key Requirements & Skills

  • Proven track record delivering full lifecycle Microsoft Dynamics AX/F&O implementations.
  • Deep hands-on knowledge or architectural oversight of legacy Microsoft Navision (NAV) environments to manage data migration risks.
  • Demonstrated experience integrating third-party enterprise tools like Oracle CPQ or Salesforce/D365 CRM with Microsoft ERP platforms.
  • Strong command of project delivery frameworks (Agile/Scrum or Microsoft Sure Step).
  • Exceptional client-facing, conflict-resolution, and team-leadership credentials
