We’re looking for an experienced Ontology Specialist to join our growing PT&D Data Governance team. You’ll help shape how we manage and connect scientific and operational data across the pharma lifecycle – from discovery to development, driving smarter, data-driven decisions.

What You’ll Do

• Design, build, and maintain ontologies and taxonomies to support data integration across PT&D.
• Collaborate with scientists, data engineers, and IT teams to connect data and improve interoperability.
• Develop and apply standards such as RDF, OWL, SKOS, and SHACL for data exchange and consistency.
• Utilize tools such as Protégé, Neo4j, Progress Semaphore, and Collibra to model and manage ontologies.
• Support knowledge graph development and promote ontology-driven data management.
• Balance strategic thinking and hands-on work, influencing data strategy while building real solutions.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong background in ontology design, data curation, or semantic technologies.
• Experience with RDF, OWL, SPARQL, graph databases, and enterprise data tools.
• Clear communicator who can bridge science, data, and technology.
• Curious, proactive, and comfortable working in both strategic and technical roles.
