Data Architect

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Data Architect to design, implement, and support our data platform architecture. This role focuses on enhancing platform capabilities, driving the adoption of Medallion / Lakehouse architecture, and ensuring robust engineering standards and governance. You will work closely with engineering and cloud teams to deliver scalable, well-governed, and high-performing data solutions, leveraging Denodo for data virtualization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement data platform architectures, including Lakehouse / Medallion patterns.
• Support platform capability uplift, ensuring adherence to engineering standards and best practices.
• Develop and maintain platform blueprints to guide cloud and on-premises data solutions.
• Apply Denodo for data virtualization, integration, and secure access.
• Collaborate with platform and cloud teams to deliver scalable, efficient, and governed data solutions.
• Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and operational standards.
• Support DataOps practices to improve platform reliability and maintainability.

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience in Data Platform Architecture and Cloud Architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Denodo and/or data virtualization tools.
• Knowledge of Medallion / Lakehouse architecture.
• Experience in implementing platform governance, standards, and blueprints.
• Familiarity with cloud data services such as AWS, Azure, Synapse, ADLS, Glue, S3.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
