Contract Opportunity – Infrastructure Specialist/ Engineer (P2V / V2Cloud / Data Center Migration)

Location: Munich, Germany (potential work in Hamburg)

Duration: 3-6 months

Focus: Infra migration, co-lo setup, and physical infrastructure exit

We’re looking for experienced Infrastructure Contractors to support a 3-month engagement based in Munich, Germany

Objective:

Support the migration and exit of physical infrastructure from an offsite location into a co-location (Co-lo) environment, applying the Six R’s of Cloud Migration to modernize and relocate services.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute P2V (Physical-to-Virtual) and V2Cloud migrations
• Assist with co-location data center setup in Munich.
• Plan and execute physical relocation of infrastructure and services
• Assess workloads and apply the Six R’s strategy (Rehost, Replatform, Repurchase, Refactor, Retire, Retain)
• Support the decommissioning of legacy physical infrastructure
• Collaborate with engineering and platform teams to ensure smooth service transition

Required Experience

• Proven experience with P2V and cloud migration projects
• Hands-on data center / co-location setup
• Experience physically relocating servers and infrastructure
• Strong understanding of infrastructure modernization and migration frameworks
• Ability to work on-site in Haar for ~3 months (possible extension in Hamburg)
