The Role
You will act as the central technical lead for the SAP landscape, owning the stability, performance and security of a modern SAP S/4HANA environment hosted on Microsoft Azure.
This is a hands-on leadership role combining technical depth with coordination across architects, stakeholders and external providers.
Key responsibilities:
- Technical ownership of the SAP system landscape (S/4HANA + add-ons on Azure)
- Central administration ensuring stable, secure and efficient operations
- Support of the S/4HANA implementation (currently in test phase, pre–go-live)
- Cross-system coordination of upgrades and update projects
- Management of external service providers with a focus on operational excellence
- Definition and evolution of the SAP Target Operating Model (TOM)
- Creation of concepts and feasibility analyses for upcoming SAP initiatives
- Key technical contact for SAP Enterprise Support
- Close collaboration with solution architects, system administrators and business departments
- Active participation in agile, interdisciplinary teams

The Person
We are looking for a senior SAP professional with strong technical breadth and landscape ownership experience.
You will bring:
- Strong SAP Solution Manager experience
- Broad SAP module exposure including:
- Finance (OTC, P2P, Treasury)
- TMS
- SAP Basis
- Experience supporting multi-module SAP environments
- Strong understanding of SAP on Azure infrastructure
- Experience within S/4HANA implementation projects
- Vendor and service provider management experience
- Ability to define and improve operational models (TOM)
- Confident stakeholder engagement skills across technical and business teams
- Structured, delivery-focused mindset
