Salesforce Release Manager – Brownfield Implementation

Contract: 6+ Months

Rate: £500 per day

Location: UK-based (remote)

Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Release Manager to support a brownfield Salesforce environment covering Sales Cloud, Revenue Cloud, and Service Cloud. The role will focus on managing release cycles, coordinating deployments, and ensuring stable delivery across multiple Salesforce workstreams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and manage Salesforce release management processes across a complex, existing Salesforce environment.
• Coordinate deployment planning, scheduling, and execution for Salesforce releases.
• Work closely with developers, admins, QA, and product teams to ensure smooth delivery of new features and fixes.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines, version control, and release documentation.
• Oversee environment management (dev, QA, UAT, production).
• Ensure best practices for Salesforce DevOps, governance, and change control.
• Support releases across Sales Cloud, Revenue Cloud, and Service Cloud.
• Identify and mitigate release risks and ensure minimal disruption to business operations.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Strong experience as a Salesforce Release Manager / DevOps Lead.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce release management in brownfield environments.
• Experience with Sales Cloud, Revenue Cloud (CPQ), and Service Cloud.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Copado, Gearset, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.).
• Experience managing multiple environments and deployment pipelines.
• Strong stakeholder communication and coordination skills.



Desirable:

• Salesforce certifications.
• Experience in enterprise-scale Salesforce environments.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery models.
