SAP Solution Architect is required to join an international technology team operating within a global organisation and be responsible for shaping and steering SAP functional architecture within a complex enterprise landscape, ensuring SAP S/4HANA solutions are aligned with business needs, integration principles, and overall target architecture.

You will be responsible for:

  • Evaluating business requirements and translating them into SAP functional architecture and solutions.
  • Analysing and designing end-to-end business processes and sub-processes, ensuring alignment between functional and technical requirements.
  • Supporting requirements analysis and acting as a key interface between business stakeholders and internal/external IT service providers.
  • Reviewing and assessing solution and architecture designs delivered by service providers, ensuring compliance with architectural principles and enterprise standards.
  • Contributing to the definition and evolution of target architecture across SAP and integrated system landscapes.
  • Collaborating closely with other solution architects to ensure consistency across applications, integrations, and enterprise systems.
  • Ensuring integration of SAP and non-SAP systems across hybrid landscapes (on-premise, cloud, and hybrid environments).

Required experience and skills:

  • Extensive experience working as an SAP Architect on large-scale programmes.
  • Strong expertise in SAP functional architecture design and the implementation of package-based enterprise systems.
  • Proven experience working within complex system landscapes, including interface and integration design across SAP and non-SAP platforms.
  • Good knowledge of enterprise integration patterns and messaging systems.
  • Experience with hybrid architectures (on-premise to cloud and cloud-to-cloud) and enterprise application integration.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to simplify and communicate complex architectural concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in international and interdisciplinary environments.
