Principal Security Consultant (Cyber Security & Managed Services)

Salary – Upto £90k + £6.5k car

Role & Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and delivery of advanced defensive security solutions across Microsoft Sentinel and CrowdStrike Falcon ecosystems, supporting diverse enterprise and cloud environments
• Act as a trusted security advisor, defining reference architectures, target operating models, and scalable design patterns across Microsoft and multi-vendor technologies
• Architect and integrate security controls across enterprise, hybrid, and multi-cloud environments, ensuring resilience, scalability, and operational sustainability
• Drive end-to-end delivery of complex engagements across SOC, SIEM, SOAR, XDR/EDR, identity, cloud security, and vulnerability management services
• Provide technical leadership and act as a senior escalation point for critical incidents, complex solution designs, and large-scale security transformation programmes
• Ensure all solutions align with Zero Trust Architecture principles, as well as frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and MITRE ATT&CK
• Develop high-quality architectural artefacts, reusable assets, automation scripts, and documentation to enable consistent and scalable delivery
• Collaborate with sales, pre-sales, and delivery teams to scope engagements, contribute to Statements of Work (SoW), and ensure smooth transition from design to execution
• Lead continuous improvement of methodologies, deployment patterns, and managed service capabilities within an MSSP environment
• Build strong stakeholder relationships, representing security consultancy in governance forums, client engagements, and technical assurance discussions
