We partner with electric, gas, and water utilities, engineering firms, and energy organizations to deliver accurate, compliant, and data-driven asset management and mapping support on a contract or project basis.

Key Responsibilities (Typical Assignments May Include)

• Developing, maintaining, and analyzing GIS datasets, asset records, and infrastructure models.
• Supporting the integration of asset data, mapping systems, and work management tools.
• Performing data validation, quality assurance, and version control across systems.
• Producing maps, visualizations, and reports to support engineering, operations, and planning.
• Collaborating with technical and field teams to ensure accurate asset inventory and spatial alignment.
• Supporting system upgrades, conversions, and implementation of new GIS or asset management platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geographic Information Systems, Engineering, Environmental Science, Data Management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with Esri ArcGIS Suite, ArcFM, AutoCAD, or similar platforms.
• Experience working with utility asset data, infrastructure mapping, or enterprise GIS environments preferred.
• Strong understanding of data integrity, schema design, and spatial database management.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
• Ability to pass background screening and compliance verifications (as applicable).

Compensation & Benefits (for Future Assignments)

When assigned to a client project through Innovation Consulting LLC, you’ll be a W-2 employee with full access to our comprehensive benefits package:

Health Reimbursement Account (HRA): Helps cover premiums and out-of-pocket costs. 2025 HRA amounts – $6,600 Employee Only, $10,320 Employee + One, $14,040 Family. Up to $5,000 may carry over to the next year.

401(k) Program: Dollar-for-dollar safe-harbor company match up to 6% of employee contributions, discretionary supplemental match, and 100% immediate vesting.

Paid Time Off: ~11 holidays, 40 hours of sick time, and vacation accrued bi-weekly (2 weeks for 0–2 years, 3 weeks for 3–4 years, 4 weeks for 5+ years).

No waiting period: Benefits eligibility and accruals begin immediately.
