Project Coordinator III
Location: San Diego, CA - Hybrid (On-Site 4 days a week)
Estimated Duration: 24 months (Strong potential for FTE conversion based on performance)
Pay Rate: $40–$48 per hour (W2)

About the Role
We are seeking a Service Coordinator (Level III) to support a Customer Service Project Management team within a large, regulated utility environment. This role provides hands-on project coordination, administrative support, and customer-facing assistance to ensure the smooth execution of customer service initiatives and day-to-day operations.
This position is well-suited for a highly organized professional with strong communication skills who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and enjoys supporting both customers and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide project manager support, including:
- Scheduling meetings
- Maintaining documentation
- Updating project plans and tracking deliverables
- Assisting with information collection and validation
- Prepare and maintain project documents, status reports, and presentations.
- Support communication and training efforts across the Customer Service PM team.
- Coordinate day-to-day activities for internal team members.
- Deliver excellent customer service, including:
- Answering inbound customer calls
- Assisting customers with service sign-ups
- Providing documentation and service-related information
- Scheduling and coordinating service-related activities
- Work closely with a large, cross-functional Customer Service Project Management team.
- Ensure accuracy, organization, and timeliness of all project and customer-facing materials.
Required Qualifications

Experience Level: 5–8 years of experience in project coordination, service coordination, or administrative/project support roles.

Education: High school diploma required.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of MS Project
- Proficiency in Visio, Excel, and Word
- Core Competencies:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Customer-service-oriented mindset
- Ability to work onsite 4 days per week
- Comfortable working early morning hours
