Location: San Diego, CA - Hybrid (On-Site 4 days a week)

Estimated Duration: 24 months (Strong potential for FTE conversion based on performance)

Pay Rate: $40–$48 per hour (W2)

Benefits: Paid holidays + $250/month Health Reimbursement Account (HRA)


About the Role

We are seeking a Service Coordinator (Level III) to support a Customer Service Project Management team within a large, regulated utility environment. This role provides hands-on project coordination, administrative support, and customer-facing assistance to ensure the smooth execution of customer service initiatives and day-to-day operations.


This position is well-suited for a highly organized professional with strong communication skills who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and enjoys supporting both customers and internal stakeholders.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide project manager support, including:
  • Scheduling meetings
  • Maintaining documentation
  • Updating project plans and tracking deliverables
  • Assisting with information collection and validation
  • Prepare and maintain project documents, status reports, and presentations.
  • Support communication and training efforts across the Customer Service PM team.
  • Coordinate day-to-day activities for internal team members.
  • Deliver excellent customer service, including:
  • Answering inbound customer calls
  • Assisting customers with service sign-ups
  • Providing documentation and service-related information
  • Scheduling and coordinating service-related activities
  • Work closely with a large, cross-functional Customer Service Project Management team.
  • Ensure accuracy, organization, and timeliness of all project and customer-facing materials.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Experience Level: 5–8 years of experience in project coordination, service coordination, or administrative/project support roles.
  • Education: High school diploma required.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of MS Project
  • Proficiency in Visio, Excel, and Word
  • Core Competencies:
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Customer-service-oriented mindset
  • Ability to work onsite 4 days per week
  • Comfortable working early morning hours
