QC Laboratory Technician | Part-Time (Wed–Fri)

Location: North Lincolnshire (Near Kirmington)

Salary: £17,000 – £20,000 (£28,300 - £33,300 FTE)

Hours: 08:30 – 16:30, Wednesday to Friday

Are you a meticulous Lab Technician who thrives in a small, fast-paced team? Our client is a global leader in specialized animal health nutrition, manufacturing innovative products that safeguard the livestock food chain.

We are looking for a QC Laboratory Technician to join a tight-knit team of three. This isn't a role for someone who wants to be a small cog in a giant machine; it’s for someone who wants to "own" their space, muck in with the team, and ensure every product leaving the facility is of the highest possible standard.

What You’ll Be Doing

Working in a specialized laboratory, you will be responsible for the "SOP to Sample" process:

• Analytical Testing: Utilizing ICP-OES and HPLC to check the mineral and vitamin makeup of products.
• Physical Analysis: Testing solid dose formats for weight, durability, and consistency.
• Compliance: Operating within GMP and FAMI-QS frameworks to ensure every test is documented with total integrity.
• Equipment Care: Taking initiative for the maintenance and calibration of laboratory instrumentation.

The Ideal Candidate

We value experience and integrity above all else. While a science degree is a nice bonus, your "hands-on" track record in a regulated lab is what will set you apart.

• Technical Must-Have: Proven experience operating ICP-OES is essential.
• The GMP Advantage: If you have experience in a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) environment, you will have a significant head start.
• Mindset: You are adaptable and "non-rigid." In a fast-paced environment, priorities can shift at short notice, and you’ll need the initiative to pivot without losing focus on quality.
