🚗 Now Hiring: Diagnostic Automotive Technician / Mechanic

Compensation: Up to $45/hr + performance incentives

Schedule: Full-time | Monday–Friday (No weekends)

AutoShop Recruiting is partnering with a high-performing independent repair facility in the Garfield Heights, OH area that is looking to add a true diagnostic technician to their team. This is not an entry-level role. This is for a technician who can own the problem, find the answer, and fix it right the first time.

🔧 What You’ll Be Doing

✅ Diagnose complex drivability, electrical, and mechanical issues

✅ Perform advanced troubleshooting using modern scan tools and equipment

✅ Execute high-level repairs across a wide range of makes and models

✅ Collaborate with service advisors and team members to ensure efficient workflow

✅ Maintain accurate documentation and inspection notes

✅ Contribute to a clean, organized, and professional shop environment

🧠 What We’re Looking For

✔️ 5+ years of hands-on automotive experience

✔️ Strong diagnostic skillset (electrical, drivability, CAN systems, etc.)

✔️ Ability to work independently without constant oversight

✔️ High level of accountability and pride in workmanship

✔️ Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills

✔️ Valid driver’s license

✔️ ASE certifications are a plus (not required)
