B Level Automotive Technician / Mechanic – Rack Attack Support

📍 Location: Cincinnati, OH

🕒 Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday

💰 Pay: $20–$30 per hour (based on experience)

About the Opportunity

AutoShop Recruiting is partnering with a fast-growing, multi-unit independent auto repair company in the Cincinnati area. This shop is known for its high car count, great culture, and commitment to quality repairs.

We’re hiring a B Level Automotive Technician / Mechanic who will handle a wide range of repairs and maintenance while also supporting the shop’s unique Speed of Service – Rack Attack inspection process, designed to keep technicians focused and efficient.

What You’ll Do

• Perform a variety of diagnostics, maintenance, and repair work on all makes and models
• Support and occasionally back up the Rack Attack team by assisting with inspections and vehicle flow when needed
• Ensure vehicles are safely moved in and out of bays for inspection or repair
• Communicate clearly with service advisors and fellow technicians about repair needs
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

About the Rack Attack Process

When assisting with inspections, you’ll help perform a 3-stage safety and maintenance check:

Under Hood Check

• Inspect fluids, filters, belts, batteries, and visible engine components
• Identify leaks, wear, or potential safety issues

Mid-Rise Check

• Shake wheels to inspect steering, suspension, and brakes
• Pull wheels to examine shocks, struts, and braking systems

High-Rise Check

• Conduct a complete undercarriage inspection from front to back
• Identify leaks, wear, or damage that needs attention

This system keeps the shop’s workflow smooth and ensures every vehicle receives a full, professional safety review.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional automotive technician experience
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills on a variety of makes and models
• Ability to support inspection flow and collaborate with the service team
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
