Job Description
As the Automotive General Manager, you will oversee the daily operations and overall performance of JJ’s Auto Service Center. You will be responsible for leading the team, driving profitability, maintaining high customer satisfaction, and ensuring the shop operates efficiently and professionally.
This role requires strong leadership, operational discipline, and the ability to balance people management with financial performance.
Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and mentor technicians, service advisors, and support staff while fostering a positive, accountable culture

Customer Experience: Ensure exceptional customer service and maintain long-term customer relationships

Operations Management: Oversee workflow, scheduling, inventory, quality control, and compliance with industry standards

Financial Performance: Manage budgets, sales, expenses, KPIs, and profitability goals

Sales & Growth: Drive revenue through effective sales processes, shop efficiency, and customer retention strategies

Technical Awareness: Stay current with automotive industry trends and best practices

Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of experience in automotive service or repair management
- Tekmetric Experience preferred
- Proven leadership experience in an automotive shop environment
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Solid understanding of shop operations, inventory control, and financial management
- Results-driven mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to make sound business decisions under pressure
- High school diploma or equivalent (post-secondary education preferred)
