Position: Automotive General Manager – Lead a Winning Team in Montgomery, AL!

Location: Montgomery, Alabama | 🕒 Full-Time

Compensation: $75,000 - $125,000 + Bonus based on Gross Profit

AutoShop Recruiting is partnering with one of Montgomery’s top-performing independent repair groups to help them find a proven General Manager to lead one of their thriving locations.

This is a leadership role for someone who knows how to build a team, drive results, and create a shop culture that customers rave about. The shop is busy, well-run, and backed by multiple successful locations—now they need a GM who can take it to the next level.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Running the shop like it’s your own—leading operations, managing your team, and driving profitability
• Coaching advisors and techs to create a high-performance, customer-focused culture
• Tracking KPIs like car count, ARO, and labor hours to keep the shop on target
• Handling customer concerns, overseeing workflow, and aligning front and back operations
• Working directly with ownership to implement systems and strategies that fuel growth

What We’re Looking For:

• 3–5+ years of leadership experience in an automotive repair environment
• Strong grasp of KPIs, workflow, and operational systems
• A natural leader who can coach and hold a team accountable
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Someone who takes ownership and thrives in a fast-paced environment
