Overview

A well-established automotive repair operation in Tomah, WI is seeking an experienced and driven General Manager / Store Manager to lead overall store performance. This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations, driving profitability, developing the team, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who understands both the operational and financial side of running a successful automotive shop.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all daily store operations including service advisors, technicians, workflow, and customer experience.
• Drive revenue growth, profitability, and operational efficiency.
• Monitor and improve KPIs such as car count, ARO, gross profit, labor margin, and CSI.
• Recruit, hire, train, and develop team members.
• Maintain a positive, high-performance culture focused on accountability and teamwork.
• Ensure consistent processes, quality control, and customer communication standards.
• Manage inventory, vendor relationships, and overall store expenses.
• Collaborate with ownership or upper leadership on growth initiatives and long-term strategy.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in automotive service management or multi-level shop leadership.
• Proven ability to manage teams and drive financial performance.
• Strong understanding of shop workflow, repair order processes, and profitability metrics.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Results-driven mindset with the ability to hold teams accountable.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
