Job Title: Digital Asset Content | Program Manager
Location: Remote (US)
Rate: $67/hourly
Duration : Through 6/30/2027 (Extension possible)
Seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Digital Asset Content Manager to support the centralized operations function responsible for digital asset management across the studio. This role will help ensure creative and business assets are organized, maintained, secured, and easily accessible to stakeholders worldwide.
The Digital Asset Content Manager will partner closely with teams across game development, art, marketing, licensing, education, operations, social media, community engagement, and IT to establish scalable content management and digital asset management (DAM) practices. The role is instrumental in building content repositories, developing taxonomy frameworks, supporting new franchise initiatives, and improving asset discoverability across the organization.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, Communications, Business, Instructional Design, Information Science, Library Science, Content Management, or a related field.
- Advanced degree in a related discipline is a plus.
Experience
- Proven experience in digital asset management, content management, repository administration, cataloging, knowledge management, or related disciplines.
- Hands-on experience managing large collections of digital assets and content repositories.
- Experience supporting cross-functional stakeholders in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Experience with content publishing, documentation, editorial workflows, or content operations.
- Project management experience supporting multiple concurrent initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Digital Asset Management & Content Organization
- Organize, catalog, and maintain large-scale digital asset repositories.
- Develop and implement naming conventions, metadata standards, taxonomies, and content hierarchies.
- Ensure assets are properly categorized, searchable, and accessible to authorized stakeholders.
- Support the expansion and optimization of the studio's DAM and CMS environments.
- Manage a variety of content types, including creative, marketing, licensing, educational, and operational assets.
Content Strategy & System Development
- Assess studio-wide content management needs and make recommendations for DAM and CMS solutions.
- Help establish long-term strategies for content governance, asset lifecycle management, and repository growth.
- Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders on software evaluations, vendor assessments, and implementation activities.
- Support procurement efforts, including software research and request-for-proposal (RFP) processes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with stakeholders across multiple disciplines and global locations, including Redmond and Stockholm teams.
- Facilitate asset collection and migration efforts from multiple business groups.
- Respond to asset requests and provide repository support for internal customers.
- Drive adoption of content management standards and best practices across the organization.
Process Improvement & Documentation
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, and content governance.
- Create documentation, onboarding materials, and internal knowledge resources.
- Support onboarding and training initiatives related to DAM and CMS platforms.
- Ensure compliance with confidentiality requirements and information security standards.
