Job Title: Project Manager / Producer
Location: HYBRID - Redmond, WA
Rate: $60-$62/ hour
Duration: Through 6/30/26 (18 months expected)
Overview:
Join a team dedicated to delivering the continued legacy of the Age of Empires franchise. As a Project Manager / Producer, you will partner with the Executive Producer to manage day-to-day production and workflow across multiple projects within the studio. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for gaming. You will serve as a key contributor, coordinating internal and external teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality features, content, and experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, track, and report on tasks and work items across multiple projects.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver features, content, events, testing, localization, and product extensions on schedule.
- Review development schedules and provide informed feedback on roadmaps.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to remove blockers and maintain progress toward development and go-to-market goals.
- Communicate status updates to stakeholders regularly and clearly.
- Implement tools or processes to improve workflows and efficiency.
- Provide flexible support for other Producers as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience:
- 5+ years in video game production or project management for PC and/or console games.
- At least 2 shipped titles credited as Producer.
- Strong organizational and collaboration skills for planning and documentation.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to evolving environments and gaming trends.
- Passion for gaming and gaming culture.
- Experience working with distributed teams and remote collaboration.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Microsoft Teams, Office tools, and other project management platforms.
Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of the Age of Empires franchise.
- Experience with Games-as-a-Service and live product operations.
- PC technical knowledge and gaming experience.
- Scrum Certification (Scrum Master or Product Owner).
- Familiarity with C#, C++, or other programming languages and basic engineering concepts.
Top 3 Must-Have Skills:
- Game Production – 5+ years.
- Project Management – 5+ years.
- Deep familiarity with Microsoft tools – 3+ years.
