Job Title: Business Operations Specialist (Office of the CVP, Marketing)

Location: Fully Remote

Rate: $45/hourly

Duration: Through 6/30/2026 (Possibility for extension)


The Business Operations Specialist will support the Office of the Corporate Vice President (CVP) within Marketing by driving operational excellence across business management, budget and resource planning, executive communications, organizational effectiveness, and strategic program execution.

This highly visible role sits at the center of a fast-paced leadership organization and partners with senior stakeholders to improve operational efficiency, support strategic priorities, and enable leadership effectiveness. The position combines business operations, communications, planning, project coordination, and organizational support to help drive business outcomes across a newly evolving team.


Required Skills & Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations, Communications, Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.

Experience

  • Experience in business operations, program management, chief of staff, strategy and operations, organizational planning, or related functions.
  • Experience supporting executives, leadership teams, or corporate business operations.
  • Experience managing budgets, purchase orders, vendors, financial tracking, and resource planning processes.
  • Experience creating executive presentations, leadership communications, and organizational messaging.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional projects and driving organizational initiatives.
  • Experience managing SharePoint sites and content repositories.

Key Responsibilities

Business Operations & Program Management

  • Drive operational excellence across leadership team rhythms, planning activities, and strategic initiatives.
  • Manage and track multiple concurrent projects, deliverables, milestones, and dependencies.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational processes, workflows, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Coordinate cross-functional priorities and ensure alignment across stakeholders.

Budget & Resource Management

  • Track budgets, workforce planning activities, purchase orders, and vendor-related expenditures.
  • Support financial reporting, forecasting, and resource allocation processes.
  • Maintain accurate budget and operational tracking systems.

Executive Communications

  • Develop executive-level presentations, leadership communications, briefing materials, and meeting content.
  • Create content for organization-wide communications, all-hands meetings, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Support leadership messaging and communication planning.

SharePoint & Knowledge Management

  • Rebuild, maintain, and optimize a SharePoint site following organizational restructuring.
  • Organize team documentation, resources, templates, and collateral.
  • Ensure information is easily accessible and effectively maintained.

Leadership & Organizational Support

  • Prepare leadership team meetings, agendas, materials, and follow-up actions.
  • Support executive stakeholders through planning, coordination, and operational execution.
  • Assist with organizational initiatives, employee engagement programs, and team events.

Strategic Programs & Stakeholder Management

  • Coordinate programs such as the Aspire rotational program and other organizational initiatives.
  • Partner with stakeholders across multiple teams to drive execution and business priorities.
  • Build strong working relationships across leadership, operations, and cross-functional teams.
