Job Title: Marketing Manager for Startups
Location: 100% Remote
Rate: $54-56/ hour
Duration: Through 6/30/26, chance for extension based on budget and performance
Purpose of the Role
The Marketing Manager for Startups supports our client's global Startups program by designing and executing ecosystem‑led ABM strategies that attract, engage, and activate early‑stage founders building on Azure. The role blends strategic planning with hands‑on program execution and requires deep expertise in account segmentation, multi‑channel marketing orchestration, and data driven optimization. This role contributes directly to startup recruitment, activation, and measurable business impact.
Key Responsibilities
Startup and Program-Focused ABM Execution
- Lead segmentation, targeting, and multi‑channel ABM initiatives to recruit high‑potential founders into our client's Startups program.
- Orchestrate integrated ABM campaigns across events, partner ecosystems, digital channels, and tailored content experiences.
- Analyze account signals and performance data to optimize targeting, engagement tactics, and next‑step actions.
- Translate insights into actionable recommendations and structured reporting for leadership and cross‑functional stakeholders.
General Marketing Manager Functions
- Forecast and track marketing and sales trends using quantitative and qualitative data.
- Conduct research on consumer and founder behavior, market conditions, and competitive strategies.
- Evaluate and refine methods for data collection, including surveys, questionnaires, and third‑party research.
- Gather and analyze competitor data related to pricing, distribution, and go‑to‑market approaches.
- Measure effectiveness of marketing, advertising, and communications programs.
- Develop procedures for identifying advertising needs and direct trained survey interviewers.
Performance Measurement
Success will be evaluated based on:
- Effective and timely execution of ABM campaigns that meet defined business objectives.
- Activation and progression of priority target accounts through events and ecosystem partnerships.
- Measurable engagement signals, qualified leads, startup recruitment, and activation outcomes.
- Operational rigor, accuracy of reporting, and quality of insights.
- Cross‑functional collaboration and consistent communication with stakeholders.
- Ability to translate campaign results into actionable recommendations and scalable ABM plays.

Required Skills and Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or equivalent training required.
Experience
- 8 to 10 years of relevant marketing experience.
- Minimum 8 years of hands‑on Account Based Marketing strategy and execution.
- Minimum 8 years of experience with ABM tooling, CRM systems, marketing automation, dashboards, and attribution models.
- Minimum 8 years of experience orchestrating ecosystem‑ and event‑led campaigns with partners, investors, or industry stakeholders.
Core Skills
- Strong verbal and written communication; ability to influence cross‑functional partners.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and manage complex workflows.
- Expertise in promoting and selling products or services using modern marketing techniques.
